The three buttons on the top of the screen are used for filtering events by:

timeframe-on-gray
time
tag-on-gray
category
hash-on-gray
hashtags

MapTiming filtering events based on a timeframe
MapTiming filtering events based on a timeframe
MapTiming filtering by tag
MapTiming filtering by tag
MapTiming filtering by hashtags
MapTiming filtering by hashtags
The availability of each of the three buttons depends on the configuration of the map.
